The best week of the year has come and gone and we just want to say THANK YOU to all of our incredible families who helped to make this year the best yet. Teacher Appreciation Week is our favorite for many reasons, the biggest being us being able to celebrate each and every one of our teachers! Our teachers are the most hard working, loving, caring, loyal, dedicated and outstanding educators to exist! Forrest Crossing would not be the same without all of our educators who show up each day with joy in their heart and excitement all over their faces to see each of your babies. We could not be more proud of all of our educators and we are so grateful to have each of them here with us! TAW brings so much joy to our teachers and we have so much fun preparing all of their surprises for them. This year we were incredibly spoiled by two of our families catering lunch each day this week. We would like to say a huge thank you to Tony's Eat and Drink and Boombozz. Our educators were so excited to have delicious food each day from these two families. We had different themed baskets for our teachers to enjoy each day. We chose to do a spin on "Toy Story" and turned it into a "Teacher Story!" We had Toy Story decorations everywhere including some incredible drawings of a few characters done by one of our incredibly talented educators! We had our snack bar stocked each day, donuts delivered by another sweet family, and Moe's to end the week on Friday! On Monday the baskets were filled to the brim with all things teacher. They received staplers, scissors, aprons, post it notes, white boards, pens, and so many other fun things along with a t-shirt! Tuesday was "Nacho Average Teacher with chips, queso, salsa, and some cute succulents. Wednesday was "Teacher Fuel" which had coffee, energy drinks, gas gift cards and teachers favorite snacks/drinks! Thursday was "A Night In" with fun card games, Netflix gift cards, fuzzy socks and blankets! Finally, Friday was a basket full of summer joy! These consisted of cute ice cube molds, towels, reusable straws, tumblers, gift cards, sunscreen, chapstick and so many other fun goodies!! Nothing could have stopped us from trying to make this the most memorable TAW so far and the joy on these amazing teachers faces let us know that they had a wonderful week. We love each of our teachers so very much and we celebrate you every day! You are the bread and butter of Forrest Crossing and we appreciate everything that you do!
