Dr. Buzz Visits AoFC

Pediatric Dental Care came to show our friends how to properly brush our teeth and the importance of brushing and flossing! 

They brought a super fun car to our school! 

Dr.  Buzz asked how many friends have been to the dentist before

She talked about why the dentist where the funny masks

Dr. Buzz talked about how much tooth paste to put on out tooth brush 

She showed us how to brush our teeth with Dudley the Dragon

    Dr. Buzz talked about how we rinse our mouth after brushing. 

 Dudley had water squirt out of his mouth. The friends loved it! 

We had a few friends volunteer to be teeth.

Dr. Buzz brushed each tooth 

Then flossed each tooth.

Each friend got to practice brushing on Dudley the Dragon!

Valentine's Day Parties

On Tuesday February 14th each classroom exchanged Valentines with

 their friends and had a special snack. After their classroom parties we had lots of fun activities set up in our enrichment room.

Lots yummy treats- a cupcake bar, mac-n-cheese bites, and quiche

Photo booth- Strike a pose! 

All set up and ready for some fun!

Making Valentines

We had a valentine card making station at pick-up for families on Thursday, February 9th. The children loved getting to make a special card for their valentine.

Team Spirit

Team Spirit Photo Challenge went well. We received many pictures adorable of families in their sports gear. We posted those photos on our front desk for everyone to see how much team spirit we all have.  All photos entrants were put into a bowl where we drew names for who would win a child sized grill play set. Then on Friday we had a jersey day where we wore our favorite team jersey. Check out the great pictures below!
