Fall Fest is the BEST

WOW!!!! Fall Fest was AMAZING!!!! We had so much fun with our families and kiddos! Thank you to everyone who came out to hang out! When families first entered, they were greeted at our welcome booth and given the opportunity to enter a drawing to win some really cool prizes by guessing how many pieces of candy were in a jar. First place won a FREE WEEK of tuition. The next closest guesses won a Crayola art basket, a Starbucks coffee basket, and a baking basket. Congrats to all the families that won! Out front we also had train rides going and a fun petting zoo with bunnies, goats, sheep, an alpaca, and a cow!! The kids loved getting to pet and feed the animals. We also had a photo booth set up where families could snap a quick pic! Seems like all the fun was outside but there was EVEN MORE fun inside!! We had a popcorn bar decked out with seasonings and buttery good-ness. There was also a chili bar with yummy mix-ins, a hot chocolate bar with marshmallows of course, and a cookie station! Bellies were definitely full by the end of the night. We had a book fair hosted by Ubsorne set up in the enrichment room. Families were able to purchase books for their little ones and there were even some fun interactive books available for kids to play with. The fun STILL doesn't stop here. On the playgrounds, we had a bounce house set up which made for hours a fun. We also had a paint your own pumpkin station where kids were able to pick the pumpkin they wanted to paint and then make a masterpiece!! Another fun activity for our littlest friends was our bubbles and chalk station. Kiddos were able to play and create- What a wonderful sight to see! Another fun activity we had going on was face painting and tattoos! It was so much fun seeing all the ghosts, pumpkins, bats and more on the sweet little faces  Everyone was so excited to show it off! Last, but not least, the balloon artist was a HUGE hit. Between big gold crowns, yellow swords, pink puppy dogs (and so much more) kids were jumping for joy for their balloon. The line was out the door all night long! Fall fest is our biggest (and most favorite) event of the year. We had so much fun and already have so many fun ideas for next year's fall fest. Now... CHRISTMAS!!!!!

It has begun!! All of our friends are starting to come in- we even saw some new faces!

Yay for ACE!! we love getting to see our froggy friend!

Loved getting to pet the animals. These bunnies seemed so small compared to all the other animals around them.

Munch, munch, munch! We love popcorn!!

There is so much fun to be had outside! Pumpkins, balloons, bounce, and more!!

Just two kids being... Kids!! hahah!

Sweetest. Bear. EVER!!! Heart eyes for days!

Sweet memories were made all night.

Look at all the masterpieces being created! So many fun colors.

We made some new furry friends at fall fest. This little guy was so sweet and wanted to be everyone's friend.

All aboard the choo choo train!! We had a blast riding around on the train all night!

Franklin Fire Department

Last week was Fire Safety Week. We got to talk all about how to stay safe during a fire and what to do when there is an emergency. We practiced a fire drill and learned about stop, drop, and roll. Fire Safety Week was not complete without a visit from the Franklin Fire Department, though! They brought out the big red truck and all the kiddos got to go take a look inside. Those curious minds had the best time exploring all the bells and whistles of the truck. Mr. Sherwood, one of the firemen, brought out the hose and let everyone touch it and pretend to turn it on. After that, he got dressed in his suit and talked to the kids about how firemen are here to help keep them safe! We love having visitors at AoFC, but this one really blew us away. Check out these kiddos with the truck below!

This little guy loved getting to sit up so high and look out at all of his friends!

So many buttons to press! We had so much fun exploring the truck!

Such a small girl with such a big truck! future forewoman in training??

Look at me!! Hanging out in this big fire truck!

Exploring the hose and checking out all it can do. Lets try to turn it on!

Can you see yourself?? The wheels in these brains are turning

All suited up! He's not scary at all, he's here to keep us safe!! Thanks Mr. Sherwood!

He was kind enough to let all of the friends touch his hat and mask to see that its really not scary at all!

Two thumbs up for fire safety!! We now know exactly what to do in an emergency situation!

A Special Visit From Mother Goose

Mother Goose has come again and this time she brought her pumpkins!! Our friends were so excited to see the new spooky friends she had with her like her tiny little pumpkin, her bat friend, and even a cute little squirrel. During the show, Mother Goose taught us all about pumpkins, Halloween, and how stay safe while Trick or Treating. At the end she even told us a silly spooky story about a little girl hearing scary noises in coming from the corner in her room only to find out it was just  her  puppy trying to eat her candy! Mother  Goose and her friends danced and sang along to a Halloween themed days of the week song, a song about monster breath, and a silly song about a big fat pumpkin! This interactive show always gets the  kids moving and up on their feet. During this show it also got them stretching like spooky black cats. Mother Goose always brings so much fun and laughter when she visits. We can't wait to see her again in the Spring!

Ready to get this pumpkin show started! The kids had been anxiously waiting all morning for one of their favorite visitors!

This show is so captivating for our friends. All eyes are on Mother Goose as she sings and dances and tells great stories.

Get up and get moving! Working out those silly wiggles with some silly spooky dances!

Saying hello to our neighbors as we gear up for a great show. Mother Goose does a great job in getting the kids interacting with one another and engaging them in songs.

The best song of the whole show! The BIG FAT PUMPKIN song!! The kiddos thought this song was so silly and laughed so hard. What a fun way to learn about different types of pumpkins.

Stretching like spooky black cats. Another great way to get those muscles working and bodies moving is by stretching. You can do this stretch with your little one at home.

Mother Goose taught us that pumpkins grow on vines and that there are all different types of pumpkins. We learned that not only are there different shapes and sizes but also different colors!
