Fire Safety Week at AOFC!

WEEOOO WEEEOOO!! Calling all Firefighters at AOFC!! This week was all about Fire Safety and Prevention which mean we had a very special guest visit us on Tuesday! It was the Franklin Fire Department! They taught us about how to be safe if there was a fire by stop, drop, and roll; following teachers or adults to their emergency exit, and staying toegther. We learned how the fire truck worked, saw its flashing light display when they have to go to an emergency, and even got to listen to the horns and sirens play! One of the firefighters put on his whole fire suit, boots, hat, mask, and gear that all keeps them safe whenever they have to enter a fire to save someone in danger. Thank you so much to the Franklin Fire Department for coming out and teaching all our children at AOFC about Fire Safety and Prevention!

Asking Questions!

So cool!!

Asking about the inside of the truck and the equipment they carry inside!

Showing the class how he puts on all of his protective gear before heading into a fire!

Fist bumps!!

The driver of the fire truck showing off what each button and device does on the truck and how it works!

More fist bumps for the firemen!

Thanks for coming to see us Fraklin Fire Department! :)
