Fairy Tale dress up day!

 Once upon a time we had an awesome fairy tale dress up day and there were lots of beautiful princesses, fairies, princes and other special characters that paid a visit to school and helped make it a very enchanted and magical place to be.  Fairy tales help spark the imagination and can lead to so many fun conversations about why they dressed as that character, where they live, what their names are and even what fairy tale is their favorite.  Whether spreading magic fairy dust,  casting spells,  twirling  as their favorite princess ,  looking for treasure as a pirate, all these things spark the imagination making AOFC's fairy tale dress up day a very special one indeed!

Love is in the Air at AOFC!

 Love is in the air at AOFC in the form of festive Valentine outfits, staff celebrations, lots of hearts, hugs, treats and chocolate! Everyone was feeling the love this week as we loved on the teachers, each day with a  different theme from a snack bar, iced coffee and doughnuts, love notes, and last but not least a candy bar with lots of sweet treats. The kids loved exchanging Valentines with each other and showering their teachers with lots of love! Happy Valentines day !

Baby doll Circle time

 Baby doll circle time is a very important aspect of our curriculum in our toddler classes as it helps the children form more caring relationships and bridge the gap between the home family and the school family. The children sing, play peek a boo, learn and recognize body parts and interact just as mommy and daddy would at home and experiencing that special connection over and over again helping to optimize their development.  Watching the toddlers sing to, love on, swaddle and point out their eyes, nose and mouth on their babies is what makes Baby doll circle time so special and why they love it so much!
