Visit from ACE!

 The Academy of Forrest Crossing had a great week and we were super excited to see our friend ACE stop by all the classrooms to give hugs and high fives! We had lots of friends that couldn't wait to give ACE a high five and others wanted to just wave! Some friends wondered where ACE lived and there were lots of amazing places that our friends thought of using their imaginations. We had a great visit with him and until next time... 

Goldfish school and Animal print dress up day!

 Its been a fun week at AOFC filled with the Goldfish swim school where the kids learned all about water safety, as well as how to wear a life jacket properly  and met Bubbles the fish and then Tuesday was wild with our Animal print dress up day for both our kids and teachers!

Mad Science Week at AOFC

It was Mad Science week at Academy of Forrest Crossing and we did lots of fun, easy, and exciting experiments ! We did everything from a Coke and Mentos reaction to a lava lamp made with things from home and finally a super cool Magic Sand Experiment which involved mixing the sand with your hands and the kids loved it! Mr Bond showed us some amazing experiments and we got to watch it all virtually right from our Enrichment room! AOFC kids loved this week and hopefully will encourage some would be scientists!

Water Day Fun!

It was a BIG day at AOFC as our new double water slide was unveiled this morning for our water day!! To say the least there was lot of excitement in the air today because the kids were waiting for the new slide to arrive as our old one sadly had its last day.  Ms Erica promised a new one by the next water day and boy did she deliver as this one was a double slide and you could now slide next to your friend which was amazing! There was lots of squealing and big splashes as the kids tried the slide for the first time and to say the least it was huge hit! Water day fun has been restored and we couldn't we happier or more grateful for the amazing new water slide!

Chopped Jr. Week

We had a blast during our Chopped Jr. Cooking week here at AoFC! We started out the weeking making bread in a bag. On Tuesday, we made homemade applesauce, we made mini pizza's for lunch on Wednesday and ended with ice cream in a bag. It was a fun and yummy week!
