The Summer has started off with a huge bang so far and we are so ready for the rest to come! I must admit though, the epic Glow party that was thrown this past week has just made its way to the top of my list for coolest summer kick-off's. We have been planning the Glow party for a couple of months now, so seeing it all come together and actually happen was so much fun! We began decorating the school on Thursday morning divided into 4 separate sections. We had our Glow Cave, Glow Tunnel, Glow Bar, and Glow bowling alley! We used all of dark colored table cloths as we possibly could covering each window from top to bottom within each section. We then used all types of different neon paints, stickers, glow in the dark wall stickers, and neon tape to really pull everything together! There were tons of different glow sticks and glow necklaces/bracelets for the kiddos to hang on to or to wear. The kiddos thought this was just the coolest party ever. There was fun dance music playing and each kiddo was wearing a white t-shirt that their classmates had written on with hi-lighters! We even added a fun little craft too for everyone to participate in! They loved being able to make their very own glow bracelets out of glow beads and pipe cleaners. Everything about this Glow party turned out so much cooler then we could have ever imagined, and we are definitely going to be doing this one again next summer :)
