Preschool Two Spotlight

Preschool Two Spotlight
With Ms. Ariel

Ms. Ariel graduated from MTSU with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Science Education. She has been working with this age group for 4 years.  Her favorite toy as a child was American Girl Dolls. Ms. Ariel has two brothers and enjoyed playing with them growing up especially riding bikes.

Some of her hobbies now include sewing, reading, superheros, and planning for her upcoming wedding!  Grilled chicken and all cheeses are some of her favorite foods.

It is easy to tell that Ms. Ariel loves children. She is always reading to them, interacting during free play and always does a creative circle time. When asked why she loves teaching she said "I love giving kids knowledge and watching that light bulb go on in their heads when they finally get it."

Her favorite activity to do in the classroom is reading together or one-on-one.
A few books she enjoys reading in her class are:
*How Do Dinosaurs Stay Safe
*How Does A Dinosaur Say I'm Mad

Our theme for the week of July 4th-8th was Dinosaur Romp

We started out the week with dinosaur excavations!

It was so much fun getting to use spray bottles to melt the ice!

YAY! They were so proud of their hard work and excited to take their new dinosaur friend home.

Each friend got to create their unique Q- tip dinosaur fossil.

What a creative way to practice shape matching with dinosaurs!

All of the Preschool Two friends enjoyed coloring their dinosaur pictures.

Dinosaur sand sensory! Each friend tried to find and name a dinosaur.

Look how big the dinosaurs foot is! Each friend got their foot traced and got to help count how many of their feet it took to fill up the dinosaur's foot.

Musical Dinosaur Safari with Mr. Steve!

A friend turned three and we had a special dinosaur birthday party!

So much fun celebrating with friends and a great way to end our Dinosaur Romp week!
