We had a very special guest visit us yesterday at AOFC, Mr Clifford is a percussionist and specializes in preschool drumming programs. He brought all sorts of drums and percussion instruments for the kids to play and listen too. Several of his amazing drums were from Africa as well as shakers made from rocks and one that was even a large dried pea pod. The kids were mesmerized and couldn't wait until it was their turn to play the stand up drums. There was even a lesson on sound as Mr Clifford would play a drum very loudly and then asked them to listen to the difference when he played it softly. The kids loved dancing, playing drums and learning all about the percussion instruments.
