Earth day

 We love celebrating Earth day a AOFC and teaching the kids what it means to be kind to the world around us and re use things like water bottles giving them another purpose. The kids recently planted seeds in peat pots and they learned what plants need to grow, water, sun and air.  Celebrating Earth Day paves the way for important conversations on re using and recycling plastic bottles, cardboard boxes as well as many other everyday materials as well as getting the kids excited about recycling their own household items. Walking, riding bikes, and running are also good ways to cut down on the amount of pollution we are putting out.  Learning about our Earth and celebrating Earth Day is one of our kids favorite days as well as an important one! Don't forget to Re use and Recycle!
