Gratitude Feathers

 We have a lot to be thankful for at AOFC and our familes got to make a special feather to be added to a turkey that says everything they are grateful for in their lives.   We had lots of sweet kids thankful for mommy's and daddy's as well as brothers and sisters, a few other things made the list like toast, meatballs and even a t-rex just to name a few.  You can be thankful and grateful for anything but we are definitely thankful  and grateful for all of our AOFC familes this Thanksgiving holiday as well as our teachers that lead our classrooms each day.   Happy Thanksgiving from our AOFC family to yours!

Mommy and Me Music Class

 Our Infant and Toddler AOFC familes had the best time doing the Music with Mommy class that took place in our Enrichment room.  The sweet friends got to bang on drums, play with scarves and discover how much they love music.  There were excited squeals and even some clapping to go along with the music lead by the instructor.   It was a precious time with both the babies and mom and we loved seeing them explore the fun of music. " Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy."

Trunk or Treat 2023

 We just had one of everyone's favorite event at AOFC, Halloween Trunk or Treat and there were so many awesome trunks decorated as well as lots of treats given out ! From The Mystery Machine to Super Mario the trunks were decorated to the nines and the kids had a great time recieving treats from each one. There were super heros, princesses, Dinosaurs and at least one Avacado parading in costumes and waving to friends.  To top off the day,  each classroom had a delicious Halloween lunch and treats before a big night of Trick or Treating.   AOFC had the best Trunk or Treat and we can't wait for next year !

Fall Fest 2023

We had the best Fall Fest on Friday with a train, bounce house, balloon artists, a yummy popcorn bar along with a chili bar and an awesome petting zoo with animals that each child could feed.  It is our most talked about festival and we love having all the families participate and it gives each child the opportunity to show extended family and friends their school and classrooms!   Fall is here and we couldn't wait to welcome it in with our annual Fall Fest at AOFC!

Spooky Sip & Paint

 On Friday we had our very first AOFC Spooky Sip & Paint where familes could paint a fun Halloween canvas to take home and enjoy a fun snack at the same time.  All of our familes were painting, socializing and having an all around great time! Canvases were being painted, laughter was spreading and lots of special memories were being made at our first ever Spooky Sip & Paint.  It was our first event like this but it definitely won't be our last and we loved seeing our familes particpate, paint and create together.

Calling All AOFC Firefighters!

WAAAHHHH WAHHHH!!! Watch out AOFC, this week is ALL about Fire Safety Prevention this week!! This looks like a job for our Firefighters!!  Calling all Firefighters at AOFC, we need you on the case PRONTO!!  We were so lucky to have our very own special guest come give us a visit this week on Wednesday.... It was the Franklin Fire Department! They taught so many things about how to be safe if there was a fire or emergency! They taught our young children how to call 9-1-1 if they need help or there is an emergency and even played eye-spy on all the items they could find on the firetruck! They saw the emergency lights, the big yellow water hose that puts out the fire, and the tall ladder in case they need it to climb into a house or building! The firefighters remined all the children how to be safe by stop, drop, and roll; following teachers or adults to their emergency exit, and staying together. We learned how the fire truck worked, saw its flashing light display when they have to go to an emergency, and even got to listen to the horns and sirens play! HUGH thank you to the wonderful Franklin Fire Department for coming out and teaching all our children at AOFC about Fire Safety and Prevention! WEEOOO WEEEOOO!!! 

Friends and Family at AOFC

 This month at AOFC its all about Friend's and Family and each classroom has been learning about what makes up a family like some are big, some are small, there are brothers, sisters, dogs, cats, and even grandparents.  No matter what, each family unique and amazing makes our school the special place to be each day. We love all our families and we would be a very boring school without them. Each clasroom had their own version of a Friends and Family board and in Pre K 2 the friends drew their own versions of their family for their board. AOFC loves our familes!
