This week we are featuring a Toddler teacher who loves teaching, reading, snuggling, laughing and all things toddler related! Ms Angela started out as a Prek 1 assistant and then found her groove as a lead Toddler 1 teacher and the rest is history. From singing to art projects Ms Angela does it all to make sure that her kids have the best experience possible each and every day. Ms Angela always wears a smile on her face and gives hugs freely obviously making her the best toddler teacher. When Ms Angela isn't teaching she likes, painting, making jewelry, taking care of her dog CoCo and being an awesome aunt to her nieces and nephews. We are so lucky to have Ms Angela at AOFC and we can't wait to see what she will do next!

Dentist visit
We look forward every year to our annual visit from the dentist and this year Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry came and paid us a visit to tell the kids about healthy foods for their teeth as well as things that have too much sugar and could give them cavities. They got a lesson on brushing their teeth from a really cool dinosaur and finally at the end of the day they could pick up a treat bag that included a tooth brush, tooth paste, a coloring book and a few other treats. We love the dentist and learning about making good choices to have health teeth and gums!

Love our teachers week at AOFC!
This week at AOFC we wanted to shower our teachers with LOVE before the actual day of love so we had a day to Knock their socks off with cozy socks, cold latte's with a Starbucks card, a sweets bar filled with lots of yummy treats and flowers from their sweet kids and parents to let them know how truly appreciated and loved they really are! I think that the teachers felt all the X's and O's as we let them know that AOFC wouldn't be the same without the laughter, songs, love, hugs, and high fives that they give out to their sweet classrooms each and every day! AOFC loves our educators !

Groundhog day!
Our Pre K 2 class started with a burning question during their circle time, would the groundhog see his shadow?! The majority of the votes were for yes that he would and we would have miserable 6 more weeks of winter! Well guess what?! The ground hog did see his shadow and in preparation for his big day our classes read The night before Groundhog day, took a vote and did an awesome groundhog activity all so they would be ready when Punxsutawney Phil made his prediction. Despite the prediction of prolonged winter weather, our friends at AOFC had a great time getting prepared and learning about this years old tradition!
