KBC Kickoff

 Kindergarten Boot Camp is off to a rousing start for our Pre K 1 and 2 rising Kindergarteners.  They have been signing in with their first and last name each morning as well as having Library day, Cafeteria day and special guest that gives an inside look at what goes on each day.   KBC has had a visit from a Counselor, a Music Teacher and a former AOFC student that will be a rising first grader.  It is something our students and parents look forward to every summer that helps prepare our Pre K students for all the fun and even obstacles of what they might encounter in Kindergarten.  KBC rocks!

Water Day

 Today was the opening day for our annual summer WATER DAY!! The most anticipated and coveted day of the week especially for some new friends who had heard all the fun stories about it.  The water tables were filled and the water slide was ready for the first slide of the morning as well as lost of screams, giggles,  splashes and fun. AOFC loves water day and it is the kick off to all the fun of summer!

Mother's Day: Sips & Succulents!

 We LOVE our Mother's at AOFC, they truly are so easy to celebrate! Mother's hold their child's hand for a short while, but hold their hearts forever. In honor of Mother's Day we showered them with our Sips & Succulents event! They enjoyed a delicious charcuterie spread of goodies, sipped on some lemonade and sweet tea, and were able to enter into our raffle. In order to say thanks for helping their little one grow, we had mini succulents that our mother's could take to go! We love all of our Mom's so much and hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! 

Celebrating Nature

 This month has been all about nature and we have been very busy with all sorts of amazing activities s that highlight things in nature as well as celebrating our Earth.  From planting seeds, a nature scavenger hunt to fly swatter painting on murals outside have given way to learning opportunities on how to use things you find everyday in nature to keeping our planet healthy with special pollution sensory activities.  AOFC loves all things outdoors and nature!

Easter Bunny Visit

 We wished March good bye with an awesome visit from the Easter Bunny with special treats and lots of hugs and high fives.  The Easter Bunny had treats for each child after they either sat with him or gave him a smile or wave.   The smiles, laughter, and conversation are what make each gathering special and it's why AOFC is for families.  Spring is in the air and we can't wait to see what fun gatherings and activities it will hold!

Leprechan traps and March fun

 March at AOFC is all about the Leprechan at least what he will do, will we catch him, what kind of trouble will he get into and plenty more as well as making the best most efficient Leprechan trap to catch him in the act! The Educators get just as excited as the kids do as they create the most fun mess for the tricky Leprechan to leave in the classrooms from green toilet water, glitter on tables,  making a mess of toys and leaving behind gold coins for each child to find.  Everyone was reporting to each other what the Leprechan did in their class and how did they not catch him, how did he get so fast and what does he look like?! The Leprechans got away this time but not without some trickery and so much fun! March Madness at AOFC!

Bike Day

 Probably one of the most coveted days at AOFC for both new and old students is Bike Day, where bikes, trikes and scooters  are brought to school to ride during each classrooms outside time.  Lots of excited squeals and comments of "cool helmet", "awesome bike" are heard as well both on and off each bike or scooter.  All levels of riders were having the best time riding the special bike route in front of the school showing off their skills to teachers and friends.  A great time was had by all and we can't wait for the next one !!  Bike day is the best at AOFC!
