Celebrating all things spooky!

 We love celebrating Halloween at AOFC but until we get to the actual day we have every spooky, monster, pumpkin activity you could ask for leading up to our annual Trunk or Treat and Halloween celebration.   There was a boo bash to warm up for the big day by making your own mask, some yummy snacks and even a treat on the way out,  Spook-tacular Pj day and the finale is tomorrow  with our Trunk or treat with a special luncheon in their classrooms.  We love the month of October and especially Halloween at AOFC!!

Fire Safety Week

 We love Fire Safety week at AOFC as it gives both kids and Educators an opportunity to learn about what to do in real life emergencies.   The Franklin Fire Dept paid us a visit with one of their firetrucks so we could learn about the special equipment they use and each child even got a chance to sit in the truck itself which was definitely the highlight of their visit.  We are so thankful to FFD for showing us the ropes and what to do in an emergency! Fire Safety week rocks at AOFC !!

Friends and Flannel event

 We love a reason to come together and have yummy snacks and play games so there was no better event to have at AOFC then a Friends and Flannel event celebrating all things fall and cozy which was the first event of it's kind for our school. Boy was it a hit, with de-constructed smores, apples and caramel along with some fall punch plus yard games like, connect four, giant Jenga, tic tac toe were the icing on the Flannel cake.  It was definitely a first but not a last event for AOFC and we were excited to welcome fall in with Flannel, snacks and yard games.  Happy Fall from AOFC!
