Drumming Demonstration

 We love having special guests visit us and we especially love when Mr. Clifford  comes to visit with his amazing drums and all his knowledge.  The kids and teachers learned all about how his special drums, there was even one called a talking drum and instruments were made by his drum teacher in Africa as well as that some were made from gourds, sticks and even bones.  Probably everyone's favorite part was getting to play the drums with Mr. Clifford and there was lots of excited squealing from both the teachers and kids while trying out the drums.  We can't wait for him to come back to visit us at AOFC!

Grandparents Day at AOFC

 We love celebrating at AOFC and today was no exception as it was Grandparents Day!  All of our amazing Grandparents and sweet kids enjoyed a delicious breakfast as well as plenty of  snuggles this morning.  Special gifts made by each child in their classrooms were given to each Grandparent as they celebrated this morning followed by tons of  hugs & kisses.  There are some very lucky kids at AOFC to be loved and nurtured by the parents that do it best, their Grandparents!  Happy Grandparents Day!
