Grandparents Day at AOFC

 We love celebrating at AOFC and today was no exception as it was Grandparents Day!  All of our amazing Grandparents and sweet kids enjoyed a delicious breakfast as well as plenty of  snuggles this morning.  Special gifts made by each child in their classrooms were given to each Grandparent as they celebrated this morning followed by tons of  hugs & kisses.  There are some very lucky kids at AOFC to be loved and nurtured by the parents that do it best, their Grandparents!  Happy Grandparents Day!

Out of this World week

 We are Out of this World at AOFC this week and we have been experiencing lots of fun space activities, including constellation art, a magic space show, and an Asteroid toss just to name a few.  We still have some play dough aliens ready to make an appearance on Friday which will be an extraterrestrial experience to say the least.  Our friends love learning about space and the planets from infants to Pre K we love being Out of this World at AOFC.

Adopt a pig

 AOF'C had it's first ever Adopt a Pig event and it was so cute!! All of our families got to pick out their very own squeaking pig, name it and take it home.  There were so many awesome names like, Bacon, Sausage, Piggy Piggy, and some were named after brothers and sisters all were taken home with pride.  We even had some pigs come back to join us the next day at school with their special owner! Lots of fun and squeals were had at our first AOFC Adopt a Pig event.

Mother Goose's Commotion in the Ocean

 We always have so much fun when Mother Goose comes to visit us especially when she brings us her Commotion in the Ocean show featuring all her special ocean stuffies complete with lots of funny songs. We love dancing , clapping and singing along with Mother Goose and we can't wait for her to come visit us again.  It was a Commotion in the Ocean at AOFC with Mother Goose !!

Dino Week

 Its Dino week at AOFC and we have been doing all things Dinosaur, from Dino hunts,  to Fossil digs and even spotting Dino's visiting on the back deck, all of our budding Archeologists have been on the hunt for roaming AOFC Dino's.  Not only have we been having fun but also learning using Dino's for measuring,  counting and matching as well as using some of our senses like touching and feeling.  We love Dino Week at AOFC..ROAR!!!

Superhero Social

 We had a very special gathering where we called all of our Superhero's for a top secret get together where they could power up with a snack, run through an obstacle course and then zoom out to get ready for learning the next day!  Just in case a mask or a cape was forgotten, we were here to save the day by providing one so the Super hero's in training could have no worries while climbing, testing their strength by lifting super weights and bending noodles with their bare hands! It definitely was a "Super" gathering and one we would likely do again. Its a bird, it's a plane, it's the Superhero's of AOFC !!!!

Summer Kick Off

 It is officially summer at AOFC and we kicked it off with water, a foam party and shaving cream all in one week!  Everyone was so excited to welcome in all the fun that summer holds with our Foam party on the playground followed the next day with water day and then wrapping up the week with our first ever shaving cream slide which was a huge hit! Summer at AOFC is our favorite filled with learning and so much fun that makes each day an exciting adventure.  We love summer activities at AOFC!

KBC Kick Off

Kindergarten Boot Camp is an exclusive eight-week program that will have your cadet trained and ready for Kindergarten in no time!  Over the next several weeks, we will focus on important skills needed to navigate Kindergarten with ease and the cadets will focus on four themes: Kindergarten Routines, School Safety, Phonics/Literacy, and Character Building.  Today our cadets kicked off boot camp by receiving their uniform and supplies that they will need for the coming weeks.  We can't wait to see all our cadets march into their Kindergarten experience with all their new skills ready to be put to use.  Kindergarten here they come!!
